What a treat! Excellent service and attractively presented flavorful Mexican entrees. Not to mention a whole lot of food. The colorful tacos overflowed with chunks of tasty carnitas. A friend ordered the extra large bowl of menudo and joked with our server about getting a refill to go.
Outstanding server. She patiently helped us move from one section of the restaurant to quieter table, which meant she had to walk from the main dining area to a separate room. Never complained. Kept checking on us, promptly brought everything we asked for.
First time I've left a cash tip close to the total check! -

After having dinner at Casa Quintero and still being in awe of their most amazing enchilada sauce, I had an idea. I was planning on making chicken enchiladas at home for a quick weeknight meal at home, so I asked one of the girls at CQ if I might be able to purchase a container of sauce. She said sure so I just got a 32 ounce container of enchilada sauce for $5!

Great place to eat, food is made by scratch, very authentic Mexican food, If your looking for a nice home feeling restaurant this is the place to come. Qucik and very great customer service provided, My family and I enjoy coming here..I use to love going to La Fonda de Ofelia on palm and shields and was so happy to find out Jose and Blanca Quintero are now the owners of Casa Quinetero. I know alot of customer were sadden to know they had close but rest to sure they are back in business at Casa Quintero on Ashaln and Fresno Street.

It's been years since I came to this restaurant so I decided it was time to try it again. The decor hasn't changed. It's right out of the 1970's small restaurant playbook. But that aside, since I don't really care that much about ambiance, the food is pretty solid Mexican-American food. The enchiladas were packed with cheese and covered in a thick tomato and chili sauce. The tacos were excellent, very reminiscent of the tacos from The Big Fresno Fair in flavor only less expensive and packed with more meat and cheese. The rice was nice and fluffy with a mild taste. The beans were heaven, made like I remember them from childhood. The chips are FRESH, not purchased in plastic bags. The salsas are delicious. The burrito especial is a huge one with chili verde on inside and out. The staff was helpful and super friendly. A shout out to the lovely Blanca who was our server.
